We are seeking a passionate and client-focused professional to join our team in the role of Taxation Support Specialist.

This vacancy is only open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants. To be eligible for this role candidates must provide confirmation of their Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander heritage.

We are looking for individuals who are able to assist clients through various channels, including phone, web chat, email, paper and online portals, to help them meet their taxation, superannuation, and registration obligations.

The successful candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to understand individual client circumstances and provide tailored advice aligned with current legislation, policy and procedures.

They will also be able to engage in meaningful conversations to support and facilitate client's payment, lodgment and registration outcomes, while navigating challenging interactions with empathy and professionalism.

Some roles may require working within a scheduled contact centre environment, providing high quality service to clients between 7am and 7pm.

Through active and strategic engagement, the Taxation Support Specialist will deliver tailored, contemporary and outcome-focused solutions that shape client behaviour and encourage ongoing willing participation in the taxation and superannuation systems.

The role involves building and maintaining positive client relationships, making informed decisions to resolve enquiries, and maintaining the integrity of records by accurately recording client information and applying relevant policy and procedures.

The Taxation Support Specialist will work as part of a team, sharing knowledge to collaboratively resolve issues and contribute to continuous improvements.

This role may be offered on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis in multiple locations across Australia.
