MACA Mining Pty Ltd is seeking a highly experienced Senior Mining Operations Manager to join our team at our Cape Preston Operation. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to lead and manage a team of operators and contribute to the safe and efficient operation of our mining site.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of operators to achieve performance targets and ensure adherence to MACA's standards, policies, and procedures.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor site operations to ensure safe and efficient production.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Monitor and report on site performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in mine site leadership, preferably in open pit hard rock mining.
- Proven experience in effective management and administration of projects.
- Demonstrated experience in commercial management and strong planning skills.
- Commitment to MACA's safety, health, and environmental policies.
- Ability to build key stakeholder relationships.
- Proven contract mining experience.
- Quarry Managers Certificate of Competency.
