Production Operator Role

We are seeking a skilled Production Operator to join our team at a custom producer of plastic Rotational Mouldings in Pakenham, Melbourne, Australia.

The successful candidate will work in a variety of positions around the facility, assisting with operating rotational moulding machinery, using hand and power tools, trimming/testing and quality checking products.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Operating rotational moulding machinery

  • Trimming/testing and quality checking products
  • Working in a team environment
  • Being available to work Monday – Friday on an ongoing basis

Requirements:

  • Ability to work unsupervised or with a team
  • Availability to work Monday – Friday on an ongoing basis
  • Drive and energy to learn all aspects of the role
  • Ability to use hand and power tools
  • Physical fitness and ability to lift up to 20kgs
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Good communication skills and ability to work autonomously
  • Flexible nature and positive attitude
  • Ability to read, comprehend and follow work instructions
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or table form

Preferred qualifications include prior experience with rotational moulding or trades backgrounds, as well as a valid LF forklift license.

On offer are ongoing casual roles with an opportunity for full time work for the right candidates. Generally 38 hours per week Monday – Friday with daily overtime offered when available. Day shifts available for immediate starts 7am – 3pm.
