Bupa Aged Care is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Business Administrator to join their team in Queens Park. As a key member of the care home staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and happiness of our residents.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, patience, and a sunny disposition. They will be responsible for administering rosters, payroll, training, compliance, HR, recruitment activities, complete the onboarding and induction of new starters, managing annual and sick leave in the rosters.

About the Role

This role will involve working alongside other Customer Service Consultants and the General Manager to provide exceptional customer service to our residents and their families. You will be the face of the care home, greeting visitors, handling enquiries, and coordinating admissions.

Duties
  • Employee Service: Administering rosters, payroll, training, compliance, HR, recruitment activities, complete the onboarding and induction of new starters, managing annual and sick leave in the rosters.
  • Resident Placement: Providing prospective residents and loved ones with a warm, welcoming, and informative introduction to the Care Home by being the key lead in handling enquiries and coordinating admissions.
  • Concierge / Reception / Admin: Effectively lead the customer and administrative experience function of the Care Home, ensuring customer service is delivered to the highest of standards.
Skills and Experience
  • Patient Communication Skills: The ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues, particularly when dealing with sensitive or emotional issues.
  • Administrative Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a similar admin/customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Time Management Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
