Randstad Defence is seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Engineer to join our team in supporting the Australian Defence Force and Defence Communications Systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing project management, design management, and other tactics to deliver complex Defence projects.

About the Role

  • Develop and implement project deliverables;
  • Manage design engineers to deliver on projects for clients;
  • Develop and review project risk, budget, FIC plan and execution strategies;
  • Prepare an Integrated Project Management Plan in accordance with project specifications;
  • Develop reports on project progress and business management.

About you

  • Engineering qualification highly desirable;
  • Understanding of the Defence Capability Life Cycle;
  • Project Management and design engineering experience across complex Defence projects;
  • Extensive project management experience in CASG, preferably in Pre-Gate 0, Pre-Gate 1 or 2;
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
