Job Title: Senior Engineering Design Manager

Resourceful Recruitment is partnering with SunRice to recruit a Senior Engineering Design Manager based in Leeton, NSW. This is a unique opportunity to join a global team dedicated to making a difference in the food industry.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide technical leadership and support to the SunRice Group Businesses through the delivery of Engineering Design Services and Standards. This role will involve working on long-term strategic plans, providing and managing engineering standards and design principles, and acting as a company representative on statutory and government regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engineering standards and design principles for the company
  • Provide technical support to the project delivery team and reliability team
  • Collaborate with the project delivery team and reliability team to ensure successful project delivery
  • Develop and implement energy and sustainability audits and projects
  • Provide recommendations on sustainability, process, and plant improvements, strategic project analysis, and manufacturing footprint
Requirements
  • 15+ years of engineering experience in a food manufacturing environment (FMCG)
  • Demonstrated experience and success in a technical leadership role
  • Strong multi-disciplinary knowledge and understanding
  • Experience in project engineering and management on major projects
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Good understanding of Australian standards
  • Contract management and administration ability
