Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Web Developer to join our Digital Team. As a senior developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and responsive web applications. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in the fast-paced world of online sports betting, collaborate with talented professionals, and contribute to the success of a market leader.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand product vision and mission.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to increasing Agile maturity.
  • Develop high-quality code that meets business, product, and customer expectations.
  • Ensure technical excellence, standards, patterns, and practices are upheld.
  • Write clean, maintainable, modular, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Thoroughly test code before raising a Pull Request.
  • Work on PRs and ensure adherence to technical quality gates.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in software development.
  • At least 4 years of experience in software development teams running modern Agile frameworks.
  • At least 3 years of experience with React, NextJS, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and AWS.
  • Python, GraphQL, and Mobile experience are a plus.
  • Relevant tertiary degree or similar qualification/industry experience.
  • Ability to explain the pros and cons of different JS engines.
  • Highly experienced with APIs and data transformation.
