About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join our team at KBR Inc. in a Defence project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage key subcontracts and purchase orders, ensuring alignment with project requirements and organisational standards.
  • Oversee all commercial aspects of affiliated contracts, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Evaluate and manage project commercial risks and interface with internal business functions to ensure project success.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in negotiating and managing subcontracts and purchase orders within the Australian Defence Industry.
  • Ability to address risks, incorporate compensation provisions, and ensure appropriate flow downs from the contract.
  • Strong capability in overseeing all commercial aspects of projects, including finance, insurance, estimating, controls, compliance, and procurement activities.
  • Proven ability to solve complex commercial and procurement-related challenges with specialised knowledge.
  • Experience in evaluating and managing project commercial risks in alignment with internal policies.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders to ensure contract fulfillment and address project challenges.
