Job Title: IT Infrastructure Technical Lead


Vectiq is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Technical Lead with NV2 or TSPV security clearance to support the delivery of IT infrastructure initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategy, overseeing execution, and ensuring seamless transition into operational environments.

  • Planning, design, and delivery of IT infrastructure projects across secure environments.
  • Defining and implementing cabling and infrastructure strategies for new or transitioning facilities.
  • Building-to-building infrastructure transitions.
  • Overseeing procurement processes, including vendor evaluation, contract management, and supplier engagement.
  • Driving project governance, risk management, and compliance with organisational standards.
  • Preparing and presenting strategy, status, and technical updates to executive stakeholders.
  • Ensuring smooth handover and transition into operational environments.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record as an IT Infrastructure Technical Lead in large-scale, complex environments.
  • Experience in migration/relocation, cabling, and infrastructure transition projects.
  • Demonstrated ability in supporting procurement, vendor management, and contract negotiations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to prepare executive-level presentations.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure strategy, architecture, and delivery.
  • NV2 or TSPV clearance (mandatory).
