Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Operating Room Suite. As a key member of our perioperative team, you will play a critical role in providing safe, quality, and clinically appropriate nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide safe and effective nursing care to patients in the perioperative phase of their surgical journey
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify potential risks and complications
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by medical staff
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient care and treatment
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements
  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum 12 months of experience in the Operating Room within the last 3 years
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Operating Room within the last 5 years
  • Successful completion of a 12-month Transition to Practice, Perioperative Program
  • Attainment of a Post Graduate Certificate or greater in the area of Perioperative Nursing
