Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Operating Room Suite. As a key member of our multidisciplinary perioperative team, you will play a critical role in providing safe, quality, and evidence-based care to patients during the perioperative phase of their surgical journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide safe and effective nursing care to patients in the Operating Room Suite, in partnership with other healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of each patient.
  • Collaborate with the perioperative team to ensure seamless transitions of care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
  • Minimum 12 months Operating Room experience within the last 3 years.
  • Minimum of 3 years' Operating Room experience within the last 5 years.
  • Successful completion of a 12-month Transition to Practice, Perioperative Program.
  • Attainment of Post Graduate Certificate, or greater, in the area of Perioperative Nursing.
