Job Summary:

Global Skilled Employment Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pig Farmer to join our team. As a Pig Farming Specialist, you will be responsible for the daily operation of the farm, including management of breeding, farrowing, weaning, and growing processes. You will also be responsible for feeding management, administrative tasks, general maintenance, and leading a small team or groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operation of the farm with minor supervision from farm owners
  • Oversee the entire production process from farrow to finish
  • Develop and implement effective feeding management strategies
  • Perform administrative tasks, including record-keeping and reporting
  • Conduct general maintenance and repairs as needed
  • Lead a small team or groups and train new members

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Agriculture or higher equivalent
  • At least 3 years recent relevant work experience
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Advance knowledge in animal husbandry, animal welfare, and legislation
  • Knowledge in computer programs/software is an advantage
