Emergency Department Operations Clerk

As an emergency department clerk, you will be responsible for timely and accurate patient registration and admission, as well as discharges of patients admitted to the ED unit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out administrative tasks relating to the operation of the emergency department.
  • Perform duties assigned by nurse managers or floor staff.
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate area within the ED, after verifying their authorization to visit.
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries at the reception desk via phone or in person.

The role requires proficiency in clerical duties, including data collection, signature procurement, and provision of financial information for private patients, as well as collection of overseas ineligible patient payments.

Requirements:
  • Meet the health organization's immunization policy requirements.
