Job Title: Food and Beverage Attendant

We are seeking a skilled Food and Beverage Attendant to join our team at YHA Australia. As a Food and Beverage Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our café, providing excellent customer service, and working collaboratively with our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages, including taking orders and managing cash handling.
  • Operate a point-of-sale terminal and EFTPOS machine, maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
  • Contribute to café cleaning and maintenance, adhering to food safety standards.
  • Support the café team with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
Requirements:
  • Experience as a barista in a fast-paced, premium establishment (minimum 2 years).
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol Certification.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays.
  • High-volume experience, with the ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Outgoing personality and genuine interest in the day-to-day operations.
