About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled P&C professional to join our Telecommunications business based in Brisbane, Melbourne or North Sydney. This newly created role offers an exciting opportunity for someone to take ownership of P&C operations, partner with leaders and subcontractors, drive compliance and training, and focus on longer term strategic priorities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day P&C operations including workforce planning, performance reviews, succession planning, and talent profiling. They will also provide coaching and guidance to leaders on performance management and P&C best practices.

To be successful in this role, you will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Operations Managers and leaders to ensure compliance, training, and alignment with policies.
  • Manage day-to-day P&C operations including workforce planning, performance reviews, succession planning, and talent profiling.
  • Coach and guide leaders on performance management and P&C best practices.
  • Engage with subcontractors to ensure they feel supported and valued.
  • Balance an operationally heavy workload with longer term efforts to align P&C strategy with the business's objectives.
