Expert Tax Attorney Sought

We're on the hunt for a seasoned tax attorney to spearhead our national tax practice.

The ideal candidate will have practiced law for at least 8 years, with experience spanning structuring mergers and acquisitions, minority investment transactions, forming private equity, venture capital and real estate funds, as well as drafting operating agreements and limited partnership agreements. A demonstrated proficiency in corporate tax is essential.

This tax expert will be part of our Corporate, Tax & Transactions service line and can be based in any of the following offices: Akron, Columbus or Toledo, Ohio; Sarasota, St. Petersburg or Tampa, Florida; Charlotte, North Carolina; Charleston, South Carolina; or Minneapolis, Minnesota. However, we are open to a hybrid/remote position for the right candidate.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school
  • Minimum 5+ years' tax law experience (private practice preferred)
  • LL.M. in Taxation preferred
  • Active bar license in any state
