Teach Digital Innovation and Shape the Future

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Innovation Teacher to join our team at Canberra Grammar School. As a teacher of digital technologies, you will inspire students to develop their skills in coding, computer-aided design, and robotics.

The successful candidate will have excellent teaching and communication skills, as well as a proven passion for technology education. You will work closely with our Head of Department to update programs and ensure they remain on the cutting-edge of technology.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to teach digital innovation and shape the future of our students. You will be responsible for teaching digital technologies, including coding, computer-aided design, and robotics. The ideal candidate will have experience in programming languages such as Python, Swift, or JavaScript, as well as HTML and CSS.

  • Experience in algorithm design and computer science fundamentals is highly regarded.
  • You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of our IT program and stay up-to-date with the latest technological advancements.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • A strong background in digital technologies, including coding, computer-aided design, and robotics.
  • Excellent teaching and communication skills.
  • A proven passion for technology education.
  • The ability to teach inclusively across a broad age and ability range.
  • Experience of, or willingness to train for, teaching the Australian Curriculum and, where relevant, the Higher School Certificate and/or the International Baccalaureate.
