Accounting Professional Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated professional to join our team as an Accounting Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality accounting services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter and allocate accounting transactions for self-managed super funds (SMSFs)
  • Undertake bank and investment reconciliations
  • Interact with clients over email, phone, and in person
  • Prepare financial statements and tax returns for SMSFs
  • Work on rollovers, contributions, pensions, and lump sums for funds
  • Liaise with third parties such as the Australian Tax Office and financial institutions
  • Accurate record keeping, processing, and system management
  • Support our network of financial and investment advisers
  • Assist in the training, coaching, and mentoring of accountants

About You:

  • At least 2 years' experience in SMSF accounting
  • A relevant Bachelor's degree (Commerce or similar) with a major in Accounting and CA/CPA qualification underway
  • Experience using SimpleFund 360
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A willingness to learn
  • Ability to manage competing priorities
  • Self-driven approach
