Validation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to ensure the validated state of GMP facilities, equipment, systems, and processes are maintained at all times.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining a validation program, project managing new and existing validation projects, and driving the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). They will also manage costs, prepare and submit validation reports, and promote a culture of safety amongst staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive validation program

  • Drive the achievement of KPIs
  • Manage costs and resources effectively
  • Promote a safety-first culture amongst staff at all levels

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Science or Engineering
  • Knowledge of qualification and validation requirements within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Code of current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) requirements
  • Ability to lead and coach a team to achieve set outcomes and desired behaviors
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including professional report writing

Interstate and international travel will be required. A tertiary qualification in Science or Engineering is essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cGMP requirements and the ability to develop and implement effective validation strategies.
