About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Obstetrician and Gynaecologist to work in a tertiary hospital setting, providing generalist practice across both Obstetrics and Gynaecology. The successful candidate will have the ability to develop special interests as part of their work schedule.
As a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, you will possess excellent communication skills, an ability to collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, and a drive for teaching and Quality Improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Provide generalist practice across both Obstetrics and Gynaecology
- Develop special interests as part of your work schedule
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team
- Contribute to inpatient management
We offer a competitive salary package up to $530,000 AUD, inclusive of salary, applicable allowances, and superannuation. Additionally, you will receive 11.5% Superannuation and the opportunity to salary package with many options that provide full fringe benefits tax concessions.
Eligible candidates may also be sponsored for a VISA.
RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you must be registered or eligible for registration as a medical practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner's Regulation Agency (AHPRA), or equivalent as an overseas trained specialist who has completed their training in either the UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, or New Zealand.
You must also hold Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) or an equivalent high specialist qualification in your country of specialist training.
