Job Opportunity: Spray Seal Supervisor

About the Role

  • Oversee spray seal projects, including planning, plant management, traffic control, and subcontractor management.
  • Supervise a crew of up to 10 people, ensuring projects are completed on time, safely, and efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with the team, customers, and internal departments to build strong relationships.
  • Encourage zero harm among employees and maintain a strong safety culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage spray seal operations, focusing on quality, productivity, and staff development.
  • Develop and implement effective project management strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes collaboration, respect, and open communication.
  • Drive business growth through strategic planning, process improvement, and innovation.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in road surfacing or related industry.
  • Technical expertise in spray seal operations and equipment management.
  • Strong leadership skills, with ability to motivate and develop teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze problems, identify solutions, and implement changes.
  • Valid SA driver's license and construction white card.
  • Ability to travel within South Australia and occasionally to the Northern Territory.
