About the Role
The SunRice Group is a leading Australian food exporter, with a strong presence in the global market. As a key member of the HWSE team, the Group Health and Wellbeing Advisor will play a crucial role in supporting the company's strategy to promote a healthy and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice and guidance on injury prevention, injury management, rehabilitation, and return to work processes, including the development of suitable duties plans and associated documentation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement systems for managing HWSE risks, specifically those related to health, hygiene, and psychosocial factors.
- Champion a supportive and effective early intervention and return to work program for employees experiencing injury or illness, providing coaching and education to employees and leaders.
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders across all levels of the organization to cultivate a culture that prioritizes healthy activities and behaviors.
- Manage and maintain all workers' compensation claims and related communication within secure health data storage systems.
About You
- 3-5 years of experience in injury management, RTW coordination, personal injury, or workers' compensation insurance.
- Significant experience in managing workers compensation and injury management programs.
- Ability to understand trends and identify areas for improvement to develop initiatives that support the health and wellbeing culture.
- Comfortable working in a team and using own initiative to plan tasks and manage workload.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong partnerships with external stakeholders.
- Passion for supporting people's health and wellbeing, with a drive to prevent injuries and promote a healthy work environment.
