Health and Wellbeing Specialist

The SunRice Group is seeking a highly skilled Health and Wellbeing Advisor to support the development and implementation of risk reduction health and wellbeing initiatives. As a key member of the HWSE team, you will provide expertise to create a culture that prioritises employee wellbeing, minimises the risk of work-related injuries and illnesses, and fosters a healthy and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist advice and guidance on injury prevention, injury management, rehabilitation, and return to work processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement systems for managing HWSE risks, specifically those related to health, hygiene, and psychosocial.
- Champion a supportive and effective early intervention and return to work program for employees experiencing injury or illness.
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders to cultivate a culture that prioritises healthy activities and behaviours.
- Manage and maintain all workers' compensation claims and related communication within secure health data storage systems.
- 3-5 years experience in injury management, RTW coordination, personal injury, or workers' compensation insurance.
- Significant experience in managing workers compensation and injury management programs.
- Ability to understand trends in order to identify areas for improvement and develop initiatives to support the health and wellbeing culture.
- Comfortable working in a team, but also able to work independently and use own initiative to plan tasks and manage workload.
- Excel at building and maintaining strong partnerships, particularly with external stakeholders like insurers and regulators.
