Job Description

The Learning Area Leader plays a significant role in leading the curriculum development, responsible for leadership, development and management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and development of the Learning Area curriculum.
  • Quality of staff teaching and student success in the Learning Area.
  • Inter-cultural competencies throughout the curriculum.

Requirements:

  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications and proven experience in delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Ability to articulate and support the Vision and Mission for education.
  • Lead, coordinate and support the Learning Area staff and work successfully in a team.
  • Deliver excellent educational outcomes in teaching and learning.
Qualifications and Skills

Tertiary Qualifications: Appropriate tertiary qualifications are required.

Teaching Experience: Proven experience in delivering high-quality teaching and learning is essential.
