Job Overview

We are seeking a visionary academic leader to spearhead the development of innovative nursing curricula, drive research excellence, and foster partnerships with healthcare stakeholders.

About the Role

This senior lecturer/associate professor position offers a unique opportunity to lead curriculum innovation, provide research leadership, supervise higher degree research students, and collaborate with clinical, industry, and government partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cutting-edge nursing curricula that align with industry needs.
  • Promote research excellence and secure external funding to support your projects.
  • Serve as Course Chair or Deputy Head of Program when required, leading by example and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Develop strong relationships with clinical, industry, and government partners to advance nursing practice and education.
Required Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A doctoral qualification (or substantial progress toward completion) in a relevant field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in tertiary teaching, curriculum design, and research leadership.
  • Registration or eligibility for registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse or Registered Nurse/Midwife.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Awareness of OHS responsibilities and commitment to safe work practices.

This role is based at our St Albans campus, with travel across other campuses as required.
