Job Description:

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to take full ownership of their employment law practice, advising and litigating on a diverse range of intellectually stimulating and challenging cases. You will work closely with a stand-out Partner to relish taking full carriage of your files from start to finish, highly autonomously.

This role offers a multi-dimensional variety of transactions, advisory, and litigation across all areas of employment law, including reviewing, drafting, negotiating employment contracts, general employment law advice, discrimination, defamation, equal opportunity, bullying, harassment, unfair dismissal, redundancy, and termination.

As part of the broader Commercial Law team but with your own territory as the firm's go-to key specialist employment lawyer, you will inherit and benefit from this industry-leading firm's impressive long-standing reputation, inspiring mentors, ongoing learning, and heaps of room to learn and grow, including future leadership opportunities.

Requirements:
  • An admitted lawyer with minimum 3 years' experience (or more) in employment law acting for both employers and employees;

  • A passion for employment law and a desire to carve out a long-term career as a specialist full-rounded employment lawyer with a top proven employer who invests in their staff.
