We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Drug Safety Associate to join our team at Viatris. As a key member of our Pharmacovigilance department, you will be responsible for ensuring adherence to established local and global processes and guidelines, as well as national and international regulations and guidelines for pharmacovigilance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and Coordinate PV Team Members: Provide guidance and oversight to PV team members in the country, ensuring they are equipped to handle pharmacovigilance tasks and responsibilities.
- Implement and Maintain Affiliate PV System: Organize, implement, and maintain the Affiliate PV System, ensuring it is functioning efficiently and effectively.
- Communicate and Endorse Safety Practices: Communicate and endorse safety practices, monitor key safety performance indicators, and visibly participate in promoting safety policies and initiatives.
- Manage Safety Data Agreements and Other PV Agreements: Manage safety data agreements and other PV agreements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and Implement Risk Management Plan: Develop and implement a risk management plan, identifying and mitigating potential risks to patient safety.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree and/or Master's degree in Medical, Pharmacy, Life Science.
- Experience: 3 years experience working in the Pharmaceutical industry, with a minimum of 2 years Pharmacovigilance experience.
- Skills: Strong communicator with excellent project management skills, team working skills, organizational skills, and capable of working efficiently in the local team as well as in other cross-functional teams.
- Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in Australia (Australian Citizen or appropriate Visa holder).
