Your Role

In this part-time inclusion support role, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with preschool children, supporting their educational and social development. You'll be responsible for creating engaging and interactive learning experiences that cater to diverse needs and abilities, and fostering positive relationships with children, families, and community members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implementing individualised learning plans that cater to the unique needs and abilities of each child.
  • Facilitating play-based learning environments that promote creativity, imagination, and critical thinking.
  • Maintaining accurate records of children's progress and adapting learning plans as needed.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A Certificate III in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience working with young children, preferably in an inclusion support capacity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • An understanding of the National Quality Standards and learning framework, and the ability to apply this knowledge in practice.
