Tradewind is working with an Independent Christian school near Wahroonga who are looking for a year 6 teacher to join their team in a temporary maternity position from Term 2, 2025 until the end of Term 1, 2026.

Demonstrated Experience and Skills
  • Demonstrated strategies to cater for a variety of learners
  • Desire to work as part of the faculty and wider school team
  • Flexibility to respond to a dynamic learning environment
  • Evidence of a relational approach to colleagues, students, and parents
  • Effective organisation and ability to fulfil administrative and assessment requirements of a teaching role
  • Excellent communication skills
Prerequisites:
  • Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
  • Tertiary Qualification (minimum 4-year degree, or 75% complete)
  • Valid Working with Children Check (for employment purposes)
  • Have unrestricted working rights in Australia
  • Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references
