Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced ICT Procurement and Contract Specialist to join our team on a temporary basis.

  • This is a hybrid role, allowing for remote work arrangements and flexibility in managing your workload.
  • The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a reputable public sector organisation, contributing to high-impact ICT procurement projects.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage end-to-end procurement processes for ICT-related goods and services, ensuring compliance with public sector regulations and procurement policies.
  2. Develop and negotiate contracts to achieve optimal value for the organisation, utilising negotiation and stakeholder management skills effectively.
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify procurement requirements and timelines, monitoring contract performance and addressing any issues or risks proactively.
  4. Provide expert advice on procurement strategies and market trends, maintaining accurate procurement records and reporting documentation.
  5. Support continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement and supply chain department, leveraging expertise in procurement software and tools.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in ICT procurement and contract management within the public sector, with a strong understanding of public sector procurement policies and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyse data and make informed procurement decisions.
  • A tertiary qualification in procurement, supply chain, or a related field is desirable, along with proficiency in procurement software and tools.
  • You must be an Australian citizen to apply for this role.
