Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Demand Planner to join our team. As a Supply Chain Strategist, you will be responsible for developing accurate demand forecasts for biologics production using historical data and business trends.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed demand forecasting models incorporating historical sales data, seasonal patterns, and business trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations and Quality Control to ensure alignment between demand forecasts and production schedules.
  • Optimize Kanban systems to manage inventory levels, ensuring minimal stockouts and overstocking.
  • Work closely with the Production team to translate demand forecasts into production plans, focusing on efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Control team to ensure that demand forecasts align with quality control requirements.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in demand forecasting, inventory management, and production planning.
  • Monitor key performance indicators related to demand forecasting accuracy, inventory levels, and production schedules.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, operations research, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in demand planning, production planning, or related roles within the biopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in demand forecasting techniques and software tools.
  • Experience in managing Kanban systems and inventory optimization strategies.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
