Qube, a leading provider of bulk transportation services, is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team at our Moura/Baralaba operations. This is a long-term leadership role that requires a strong focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of operators to ensure effective delivery of haulage operations.
- Supervise staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to undertake tasks as designated.
- Conduct regular on-the-job observations and coaching to assist in employee safety development.
- Ensure compliance with Qube procedures, policies, and client operations.
- Organize and schedule operators to meet daily haulage requirements and targets.
- Manage production and mechanical breakdown issues.
- Provide comprehensive reporting to the management team on haulage achievements, challenges, and issues.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and mentoring to site personnel.
- Maintain a safe working environment and provide outstanding service.
- Develop working relationships with key stakeholders on site.
- Ability to work under pressure to achieve set targets and standards.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the mining and/or heavy transport industry in a similar role.
- Previous experience working in haulage and achieving production targets.
- Previous experience successfully managing and leading a team.
- Good knowledge and experience of best practice in mining and road transport operations.
- Standard 11 Mining Induction.
- Mining Supervisor S123 & G2 Risk Facilitator Qualifications.
- RIIVEH302E Operate multi-combination vehicle.
- RIIMPO308F Conduct tracked dozer operations.
- RIIMPO305F Conduct coal stockpile dozer operations.
- RIIMPO304E Conduct wheel loader operations.
- TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
