Warehouse Team Leader Job Description

This role is critical to ensuring all warehouse activities meet compliance and safety requirements. As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will be responsible for receiving goods from suppliers, unloading and storing them safely, and providing excellent customer service to customers picking up orders.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and coach team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.
  • Manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, ensuring that they are handled safely and securely.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Maintain accurate records and invoices, ensuring that all financial transactions are properly documented and accounted for.
  • Participate in regular stocktakes, ensuring that inventory levels are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, ensuring that all facilities and equipment are well-maintained and comply with regulatory requirements.
