Job Title:

Social Worker - Child Protection Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Worker to join our multidisciplinary team in the Child Protection Unit. The successful candidate will work closely with children and families who have experienced trauma, abuse, and neglect, providing crisis response, complex psychosocial assessment, and short and medium-term counseling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To provide social work services to children and families in need, including crisis intervention, counseling, and case management.
  • To participate in intake and after-hours on-call rosters as required.
  • To develop and maintain professional relationships with colleagues, community agencies, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in child protection or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
