AV Support Technician (Corporate Events)

As an AV Support Technician team member, you'll be part of our team delivering top-tier technical support and ensuring seamless event execution.

You'll be interacting with a diverse range of people, from colleagues to clients, ensuring every event runs smoothly and impressively.

This role is ideal for individuals who have been looking for roles like Technical Events Coordinator or Venue Technician.

Responsibilities

On a day-to-day basis, you will support all technical components of each event and assist with general venue support.

Assisting with planning and executing the technical and non-technical aspects of room setups and virtual events is also essential.

Supporting the Venue Support Technician with daily operations and assisting clients and instructors with their requests during events is another key responsibility.

Requirements

  • Basic hands-on IT technical experience ideally gained within corporate events focused on AV or hardware.
  • Experience in hospitality or fast-paced customer service environments is an advantage.

In addition to the above requirements, you should demonstrate:

  • Experience working with Windows operating systems.
  • A basic understanding of audio-visual fundamentals and technologies.
  • Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer service focus.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Calmness under pressure and ability to make intelligent decisions.
  • Ability to work unsupervised as part of a larger goal.
  • Be physically fit to perform corporate event room setup.
