GP Medical Reception Role

We are a busy general practice seeking to expand our GP team to meet exceptional growth. Our purpose is to provide high-quality, holistic patient care.

Gawler offers a unique blend of rural community feel and easy access to Adelaide via the northern expressway. Our practice is located in a prominent location with plenty of parking, mixed billing, fully computerised, accredited practice, with a largely family patient base.

The successful applicant will:

  • Provide comprehensive customer-focused service to both internal and external patients.
  • Manage clinic bookings, billings, appointments for Doctors, allied health professionals, nurses and patients.
  • Carry out assigned tasks, including Scanning, Follow up, Recalls, SMS reminders, daily batching etc.
  • Manage and follow up outstanding fees.
  • Review and process medical practitioner correspondence.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in Medical Reception.
  • Previous experience in Best Practice software.
  • A commitment to superior customer service.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • A flexible and collaborative approach to working within a team.
  • An understanding of medical terminology.
