Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Senior Work Integrated Learning Officer to join our team at Queensland University of Technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating WIL student placements and projects across the Faculty of Science.

About the Role

This is a full-time, ongoing position that offers a competitive remuneration package, including up to 17% superannuation and leave loading of 17.5%. The role also provides opportunities for professional development and growth within the university.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate WIL student placements and projects across the Faculty of Science
  • Provide accurate advice to students, academic and professional staff, and industry stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners and stakeholders
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of WIL programs and make recommendations for improvement
Requirements
  • Education, training, and/or relevant experience equivalent to completion of a degree in conjunction with subsequent relevant experience
  • Demonstrated well-developed organizational skills with the ability to effectively plan and prioritize work
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Well-developed digital literacy skills, including an advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
