We are currently recruiting for a permanent opportunity as a Painting Project Manager in Rockhampton. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing project planning, implementation, and evaluation to ensure timely delivery within budget and scope.

\

This role is a full-time position with a Monday to Friday roster. Although based in the Rockhampton region, there may be some travel to project and client sites as required.

  • Developing comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders\
  • Leading cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones and deliverables\
  • Monitoring project progress, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies\
  • Communicating project status updates and reports to internal and external stakeholders\
  • Ensuring adherence to project management best practices, quality standards, and regulatory requirements\
  • Determining labour hours required to complete the project, as well as resources and materials\
  • Evaluating and implementing process improvements\
  • Managing and maintaining accurate records of project-related data and documents\
  • Collaborating with clients to understand their needs and preferences\
  • Maintaining positive relationships with colleagues, clients, and vendors\
  • Providing guidance and support to junior team members\
  • Performing other duties as required\
  • Solid knowledge of various painting techniques and tools\
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation\
  • Construction white/blue card\
  • Painter and Decorator - tradesman certificate\
  • Previous experience in commercial or residential field\
  • A strong understanding of construction industry regulations and standards\
  • An ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines\
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills\
  • A high level of organization and attention to detail\
  • An ability to work independently and as part of a team\
  • Proficiency in MS Office and project management software\
  • An ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities\
