We're looking for a talented Supply Chain Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Australia. This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in the smooth operation of our supply chain, ensuring timely delivery of exports and providing exceptional customer service.

Job Summary

This role will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating communication between rail and transport departments, focusing on rail exports and ensuring the timely delivery of containers before cut-off periods. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders to plan and schedule delivery of exports, create releases and bulk run orders, and communicate with transport teams to ensure execution of export plans.

Main Responsibilities

  • Plan and schedule delivery of exports to terminal, taking into account factors such as vessel receivals and late deliveries;">
  • Create releases and bulk run orders in Container Chain, ensuring accuracy and efficiency;">
  • Communicate with transport teams to ensure execution of export plans, resolving any issues that may arise;">
  • Update and maintain export master plans, ensuring up-to-date information is available to all stakeholders;">
  • Liaise with rail customers on PRA issues, providing timely and effective solutions;">
  • Utilise 1-stop system to check vessel receivals, identifying potential delays and bottlenecks;">
  • Follow up and chase Late Receivals, ensuring deadlines are met and customers are informed;">
  • Maintain up-to-date reporting systems, providing accurate billing and invoicing information;">
  • Report as required, providing insights and recommendations to improve supply chain operations;">
  • Answer internal and external customer calls and email queries/questions, providing excellent customer service;">
  • Ensure customer focus is a key priority, being the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding export container inquiries;">
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships and partnerships, driving business growth and success.">

  • High level of data accuracy and attention to detail, with experience working with computer systems and software;">
  • Ability to manage time and projects efficiently, with experience in prioritising tasks and meeting targets;">
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft/equivalent systems, with the ability to learn and understand new technologies;">
  • Intermediate level Excel skills, with experience in creating reports and analysing data;">
  • Experience working in a similar role or industry, with a proven track record of delivering results and improving processes.">
