Job Overview

A key opportunity exists to drive innovation in the energy sector by supporting the development and execution of a program of work that enhances cyber security maturity and capability across Australia's energy sector.

  • This role will play a critical part in coordinating with government authorities and industry stakeholders on effective response to cyber security incidents, enhancing frameworks used to inform cyber security maturity uplift, coordinating cyber security research activities on emerging issues affecting energy grids and markets, and promoting a shared understanding of the cyber threat environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery and ownership of complex outcomes in support of the team's responsibilities relating to cyber maturity uplift.
  • Maintain contacts and engage with stakeholders across government, industry, and academia to identify and review AEMO cyber security standards applying to market participants.
  • Support review and refinement of sector-specific cyber maturity frameworks and reporting on security preparedness of the sector.
  • Assist in the development of supporting materials and presentations, as well as coordinate internal and contracted resources to deliver objectives.
  • Support manager in reporting on progress against initiatives and other duties as required.
Requirements
