This is an exciting chance to provide comprehensive primary care as a General Practitioner in a remote community in Far North Queensland.

About the Role

We seek a skilled and dedicated healthcare professional to deliver high-quality healthcare services to the local community.

  • Provide diagnosis, treatment, and management of illnesses for patients of all ages.
  • Collaborate with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workers to deliver holistic healthcare.
  • Maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
Key Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Medicine with current specialist registration with the relevant Australian health authority.
  • FRACGP or FACRRM Fellowship.
  • Current Medical Indemnity Insurance.
  • Experience in improving Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health outcomes.
  • A willingness to accommodate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander values and traditions.
