Disability Support Worker Job Opportunity

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Disability Support Worker to provide support and care to individuals with disabilities. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To work collaboratively with clients and their families to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • To provide personal care assistance, including toileting, bathing, and dressing.
  • To assist clients with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and medication management.
  • To promote clients' physical and emotional health through regular exercise and recreational activities.
  • To maintain accurate records of client progress and report any concerns or issues to supervisors.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 6 months work experience as a support worker.
  • Current First Aid & CPR certification.
  • Current Medication Administration Certificate.
  • Fully vaccinated with Covid vaccination/booster.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Manual Handling Certificate.
  • Current driver's license with reliable transport.
