Leading a Team in Home Care
Anglicare Southern Queensland's Home and Community Service provides support to enable older people to live their best lives in their own homes. As a full-time opportunity, this role supports the delivery of community services to an assigned group of clients.
The key responsibilities include:
- Supervising Home Care Workers and Support Services Workers on a day-to-day basis.
- Assisting with the orientation of new staff and providing guidance and support including assessments and client-related documentation.
- Facilitating and monitoring individualized care plans to meet client needs as delegated.
- Supporting the delivery of community services to an assigned group of clients.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Previous experience in a senior care worker or supervisory role with experience facilitating non-clinical community-based training.
- Ability to lead, manage, train, and mentor team members.
- Capacity to assist with planning and managing client care.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated time management skills.
- A current National Police Certificate.
- A current Driver's Licence and own reliable vehicle.
- A Certificate IV in Home and Community Care or equivalent.
- Current First Aid and CPR Certification.
