About Us
Serco, in partnership with Bupa, provides integrated healthcare services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel across Australia. Our team delivers defence-ready clinical and support staff across 50+ on-base locations nationally, ensuring that ADF personnel have access to quality on-site medical care.
About the Role
You will be responsible for delivering medical services to patients in accordance with professional standards, legislation, and Defence Policies and Procedures. You will provide medical technical advice to the Joint Health Unit (JHU) Commanding Officer (CO), Joint Health Command (JHC) Health Centre Manager, and Commanders of units. You may be required to provide services in either an outpatient setting or as inpatient care within a medical centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality medical services to patients in accordance with professional standards and Defence Policies and Procedures.
- Provide medical technical advice to senior officers and managers.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-standard care to patients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical knowledge and best practices.
About You
You are an experienced healthcare professional with a strong foundation in general practice. You have a passion for delivering high-quality medical services and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams. You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
