Procurement Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement & Contracts Specialist to drive business value through strategic procurement and effective contract management.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to develop sourcing strategies, negotiate contracts, and build strong supplier relationships.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead procurement and contracting strategies across diverse portfolios
  • Analyse data, market intelligence, and supplier capabilities to inform sourcing decisions
  • Develop and execute contracts up to $1M in value, including negotiation and risk mitigation
  • Drive competitive sourcing activities, such as tenders and eAuctions
  • Build and maintain strong supplier and stakeholder relationships
  • Ensure supplier performance meets agreed outcomes, resolve disputes, and implement corrective actions when required
  • Promote alignment with global procurement initiatives while supporting local business needs
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Project Management or Finance
  • 3-5 years' experience in procurement or commercial roles, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Proven ability to develop sourcing strategies and negotiate commercial contracts
  • Strong relationship management, influencing, and communication skills
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving capability
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes under pressure

Cross-functional collaboration with Manufacturing, Maintenance, HR, IT, and Finance is essential to achieve operational objectives.
