About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at Electrolux. As a key member of our manufacturing engineering team, you will play a critical role in developing, delivering, and implementing electrical solutions within our manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and expertise to ensure the efficient operation of our manufacturing plant.
  • Lead by example, supervising a small team of engineers and engaging with clients, contractors, and other employees to ensure projects are completed to specification.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to develop and meet project and production requirements.
  • Assist the maintenance team in breakdowns where manufacturing engineering assistance is required.
  • Review methods of manufacturing to ensure the most economical approach is utilized.
  • Assist the implementation and continual improvement of the Work, Health, and Safety and Injury Management systems.
  • Drive a safety culture by providing safety-focused leadership through positive attitude and behaviors.

Requirements

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years' experience in a high-volume manufacturing or similar environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of automation systems, safety systems, pneumatics and hydraulic systems, and PLC/HMI.
  • Proven competence in creating project documentation and project implementation.
  • Knowledge of Siemens Automation is advantageous.
  • Project leader experience with good people leader skills is advantageous.
