As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will support the Transmission & Electrification team by undertaking electrical engineering design & working on multi-disciplinary engineering projects. Work from the Adelaide office.

Energy
Our Energy team helps clients maintain safe and reliable power supplies, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and deliver future energy schemes to support sustainable city transitions.
What you’ll do:
- Undertaking electrical engineering design and/or review and verify engineering drawings and reports.
- Lead, manage or undertake design development for a range of multi-disciplinary engineering projects.
- Undertake field and desktop investigations related to the condition, appropriateness, and capacity of existing electrical infrastructure.
- Write technical documentation and communicate discipline requirements to other members of the project team.
- Promote the continual improvement of best practice OHS&E and Quality systems and behaviours.

- Foster and evolve client relationships through successful project delivery.
- Provide expert input into pursuits and proposals.
- Supervise and coordinate junior to mid-level engineers.
- Experience with power systems software is preferred.
- Proactively participate in future projects aimed at de-carbonisation such as renewable projects under development or being delivered.
- Should you wish to take on the challenge, be a contributing Owner’s Engineer, Independent Certifier or Lender’s Technical Advisor
- Depending on your industry preference, be part of the team to pursue, develop and deliver present and future planned Renewable Energy Zones.
About you:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in electrical technical advice or design of critical electrical systems (such as mining, water, processing plants or transport) or the power industry (such as generation, transmission or distribution utilities).
- Relevant tertiary qualifications – e.g. degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
- A fundamental knowledge of key Australian Standards.
- Demonstrated experience in a sub discipline of electrical engineering at either the high voltage and/or low voltage level (such as secondary system design and protection system).
- Demonstrated experience in the development of specifications, conceptual, and detailed design of electrical industrial/infrastructure projects.
