As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to our customers. You will be responsible for overseeing shipping personnel, verifying shipments, and preparing items for delivery.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Schedule deliveries with customers to meet their needs.
  • Study inventory to identify products for shipment and optimize logistics processes.
  • Manage multiple drivers and pullers to ensure efficient operations.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Lead and direct the shipping team to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Recruit, train, and develop new employees.
  • Assign and direct work, appraise performance, and provide feedback and coaching as needed.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent GED required.
  • Previous experience in shipping department is essential.
  • Basic math skills and ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.

Work Environment:

The work environment may be loud due to construction activities. The employee is regularly required to lift up to 100 pounds of weight and occasionally stand.
