Scientist Engineer for Dynamic Learning Environments

The Information Sciences Division is seeking an exceptional researcher to join its team working at the intersection of machine intelligence and information warfare.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a talented team of developers creating novel synthetic environments and scientifically evaluating intelligent agents in these environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate high levels of initiative, scientific integrity, and pragmatism
- Engage with collaborators within DSTG, academia, or industry to deliver Defence-related S&T outcomes
- Contribute to the development of dynamic learning environments for machine intelligence and influence strategic decisions on Defence impact
About Our Team:
The Information Warfare Command and Control (IWC2) STC conducts research and development of command and control technologies for fighting in and through the contested information environment.
We seek to collaborate with others working in similar areas to increase critical mass and achieve maximal impact for Defence.
You Will Need:
- To have demonstrated ability to work with internal and external collaborators to deliver S&T outcomes
- To recognize research challenges and pursue solutions
- To communicate effectively with stakeholders, team members, and collaborators
- To work with limited guidance
