Aviation Engineering Leadership Role

As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction and development of the Australasian Aviation Domain.

You will maintain a collaborative working relationship with stakeholders to provide expert guidance on emerging technologies, products, and capabilities that drive business growth.

Your focus will be on improving regional safety performance, ensuring safe operations now and into the future.

You will be responsible for delivering the Australasian Aviation Engineering Strategy, aligning it with our broader business objectives.

In addition, you will support the Senior Engineering Manager in ensuring governance, assurance, and engineering authority across all engineering and technical activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Your role will be integral in maintaining product safety, functionality, and alignment with technical authority, as well as contributing to business development initiatives within the aviation sector.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintain close working relationships with stakeholders
  • Provide expert guidance on emerging technologies, products, and capabilities
  • Deliver the Australasian Aviation Engineering Strategy
  • Support the Senior Engineering Manager in ensuring governance, assurance, and engineering authority
Requirements:
  • Able to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance as defined by AGSVA guidelines
  • Relevant Engineering Degree (Recognised under the Washington Accord)
  • Significant experience in an Aviation related technical role
  • Understanding of CASA/DASA certification frameworks
